Bread to Spread the Vote

Funding nonpartisan voter outreach in your community

Bread to Spread connects grassroots groups with the funding they need to help their neighbors vote, in ways that work for their communities. STV provides microgrants of up to $1,000 for nonpartisan, locally-focused voter outreach and education actions - whether it’s a voter registration pizza party, an info session on ballot measures, or tabling at a beloved neighborhood event, creativity is welcome and encouraged.

We support grant recipients with our on-the-ground expertise and resources from our partners - including ActiVote, the nation’s largest and fastest-growing voter information tool. (If you’ve got a lot of races to vote on this election season, download the app here and give it a try: it’s nonpartisan, and a really easy way to demystify your ballot.)

Registered 501c3’s, student and youth groups, educational and faith-based institutions, and unregistered/informal community groups are welcome to apply. Applications accepted through August 28.
